Part 8 of the May, 2015 Loma Linda University Health Orthopedic Team visit to Nepal. In addition to the April 25 7.8 magnitude quake, the devastated Nepali people were dealt another blow in the form of a 7.3 magnitude trembler on May 12. Most mornings we were able to get up around 5:30 and go for either a run or walk through the hills behind the hospital and interact with some of the villagers. It was then that we became even more impressed with the resiliency, fortitude and warmth of the Nepalese spirit that I hope is reflected in the following photo essay.
